Please note: due to Covid-19, some of the locations may currently have safety measures in place, and be subject to reduced hours and capacity. Find out about changes on campus on our dedicated Covid-19 webpages.
Enter the Richard Hoggart Building from the main entrance and you’ll find a welcoming reception area. You can ask our friendly front of house team to point you in the right direction of any room you need to find, or spend some time relaxing in the plant-filled lounge. During Open Days and Welcome Week the reception area is often filled with staff and Student Ambassadors meeting and greeting arrivals.
From the reception you’ll also be able to peek into the Great Hall, the venue for many Goldsmiths graduation ceremonies and performances over the years.
Take the corridor to your left to get to the Student Centre, or go in the opposite direction to find the Students’ Union shop, Thirty Five Café, Curzon Cinema, Careers Service, and the Department of Theatre and Performance. Upstairs on the first and second floors you’ll find teaching spaces including lecture and seminar rooms, as well as the Departments of History, Music and Visual Cultures.
