Drop into the first floor of the library before lunch to find and check out those books you’ll need for an essay you’re writing. The Library’s vast collections cover all areas relating to teaching and research at Goldsmiths and contain approximately 300,000 books and 7,000 print and electronic journals. If you are craving your second coffee or tea of the day, visit the library café on your way out.

Loring Hall grounds

You can find some tranquillity for your lunch in the Loring Hall accommodation grounds. When the sun’s out, you can find other students and residents lounging here and enjoying the nice weather. Many of Goldsmiths halls have their own green space, so if you are a lover of outdoor space, you have plenty of options to choose from.

Personal tutor appointment

Next, you can head over for your appointment with your personal tutor. This is an academic in your department who can help you with any questions you have about your degree and point you in the direction of any support or wellbeing services you might need. Appointments are usually one-to-one, and it’s somewhere you can talk openly and without judgment.
